The Gumout Performance Products annual Carlisle Ford Nationals is known for celebrating the blue oval with thousands of Fords showing up to the fairgrounds each year. However, this year may be a little different considering a brand new Mustang will be up for grabs to one very lucky winner. The beauty up for grabs is a brand new 2013 Mustang V6 auto Coupe. While most people hate on a V6, some of the V8s around still aren?t packing the horses this thing is tucking under the hood and they sure as hell don?t get the gas mileage, either!
The annual Ford Nationals will kick off the Summer of Muscle at Carlisle in style from June 1-3. Last year, a Pinto took center stage, but this time it?s a horse of a different color. The color of the Mustang hasn?t been determined yet, but the winner gets $10k toward a lease on the brand new ride. That number is based off of the MSRP of the vehicle being $24,485 and has been calculated based on the standard 21k mile, 2-year red carpet lease. Of course the winner will still be responsible for taxes, fees, titling, registration, insurance costs, and all of that fun stuff. The money will be paid to the dealership selling the ?Stang and the leases are subject to Ford Credit approval.

That?s not all, though. The event already gives away an engine courtesy of Ford Racing. Besides the prizes, there will be awesome displays as well as family activities. If you?re not interested in that, you got to see the burnout competition, beauty contest, drag racing at Quarter Aces Drag-O-Way, downtown parade, industry guests among other things. The 2012 Ford Nationals seems like it?s not an event to miss so plan to attend and sign up to win a two year lease on a brand new ?Stang.
